BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS PHOTOGRAPHER Roos Hobé FROM The Netherlands

LONDON 20-08-2011 - Professional  photographer Roos Hobé of  The Netherlands was presented with the 6th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Nominee title in the category of Portrait and Nature at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow watched by 40,000 online viewers who logged on live from 154 countries to see the climax of the industry's most important event for black and white photography.

Thousands of images were received from 73 countries worldwide. The awards international Jury included captains of the industry from Sotheby's, Magnum Photos, The Armory Show, Fratelli Alinari to Tate and Phillips de Pury & Company in London who honored Spider Fellows with 190 coveted title awards in 27 categories. The judges reviewed the entries online for eight weeks before making their final nominations and Roos Hobé 's " Title of Nominee," an exceptional image entered in the Portrait and Nature category, was honored by nomination of the Jury.
